We are looking for a Global Social Content Planner to join our inhouse Global Social Media team - a unique opportunity to shape the voice of a global, dynamic and fast-paced fashion brand that are on an exciting journey. Are you a structured strategist with a passion for social storytelling, content planning, and fashion?

You are a detail-oriented doer with a creative edge, someone who thrives on managing complexity and turning strategies into action. You have a deep understanding of the social and digital ecosystem, know how to navigate multiple information flows from different stakeholders, and bring sharp judgment to content planning decisions that maximize impact.

Responsibilities and tasks

As our Global Social Content Planner, you will be the driving force behind our social content planning. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that our brand voice is consistent, relevant, and impactful across all digital touchpoints. From high-level seasonal calendars to reactive moments – you connect it all and ensure plans are always up to date.

Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Translate full-funnel marketing strategies into cohesive content calendars for paid and organic social channels.
  • Lead the global content planning process—seasonal, monthly, weekly, and daily—ensuring alignment with brand priorities and key cultural and fashion moments.
  • Manage and prioritize incoming information and requests from multiple stakeholders to build clear, actionable plans.
  • Proactively make recommendations to optimize the publishing schedule and maximize content performance across platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, creative, and media teams to ensure synergy across campaigns and touchpoints.
  • Leverage data, audience insights, and platform best practices to refine planning and improve engagement.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in content planning, social media management, ideally within fashion, retail, lifestyle, or agency environments.
  • Proven ability to plan and manage 360° content across various social channels and ideally in more markets.
  • Outstanding attention to detail, with a strong ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects and timelines.
  • Strong judgment and a strategic mindset - you can recommend adjustments based on performance, trends, and business priorities.
  • Deep knowledge of major social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, Snap) and their content best practices.
  • Expert at summarizing complex plans, visualizing them clearly in presentations and charts, and keeping them updated.
  • A collaborative, proactive spirit, comfortable working across fast-moving cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Other information

It’s a temporary position, full time with start asap in May, 2025 and 6 month ahead. You will be based at H&M headquarters in Stockholm. Please apply as soon as possible!
