Operational Project Manager - Björn Axén

We are looking for

Björn Axén, a leader in professional hair care, is seeking an Operational Project Manager for a one-year maternity cover. In this hands-on role within the marketing team, you will take the lead on projects and coordinate campaigns and activities across both brand and key retail partners, ensuring effective planning and seamless execution. Your strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive mindset will be key to success in this dynamic environment.

Responsibilities and tasks

  • Oversee resource and project planning, including budget coordination.
  • Manage and execute 360° marketing campaigns, events, and promotions.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with high quality.
  • Coordinate marketing material production with agencies and suppliers.
    Deliver marketing materials and coordinate activities in collaboration with key retailers.
  • Drive and coordinate collaborations with internal teams and external partners.
  • Track and evaluate campaign performance.

Qualifications

We’re looking for a driven and organized team player with a hands-on mindset and a clear, open communication style. You thrive in a fast-paced, global environment and understand the value of customer service in an international business model. With a fearless and flexible approach, you adapt easily to change, take initiative, and enjoy finding new solutions. Ideally, you bring experience from the retail or lifestyle sector, digital marketing skills, and a solid understanding of global market dynamics. A curious, entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders will serve you well in this role.

Key qualifications:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of operational project management experience within lifestyle, retail, or FMCG, B2C.
  • Experience working with events, campaigns, and marketing activities.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in project or production management of 360° campaigns.
  • Strong ability to create added value for clients.
  • Familiar with project management tools.
  • Education in marketing, communication, or similar fields.
  • Strong understanding of brand communication and marketing strategies.
  • Experience working with agencies, suppliers, and external partners.
  • Structured, solution-oriented, and detail-focused.
  • Proficient in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.
