Responsibilities and tasks
We are looking for someone with a passion for technology, building brand engagement and training, with excellent skills in management and experience from retail. As our Global Business Director, you will be the central point of contact for our global clients, which are some of the most well-known consumer electronic brands in the world, as well as leading our global engagement team at WorkShop.
Together with a great team you will be responsible for planning, creating and develop the engagement program and you will engage with key stake holders daily to make sure we deliver on top. The Global Business Director will lead and strategically plan the roll out for all markets globally. This includes, setting up teams and create reporting structures and plans to make sure everyone is engaged and aligned.
The Global Business Director is setting standards and leads by examples with excellence throughout all levels of the engagement program. The role requires an ability to provide valuable input into the strategic, creative and financial development of client accounts through effective teamwork. You need to be able to identify strategic growth and develop the accounts to maximize revenues.
You will be responsible for the agency’s biggest global account and with your team make sure the strategy is translated into relevant activities in form of platform content and other digital and physical activations that are followed up with data to ensure engagement.
You will ensure that everyone in the team works together and delivers in line with expectations. You will follow up the regional program managers and support them in their regional strategies.
Qualifications
Role Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience from a similar position, preferably from an agency.
- Relevant studies within marketing or economics.
- Experience with presenting and working with c-level executives for global brands.
- Experience in budget responsibility.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- A positive mind set and a social team player with a solution oriented “can do” attitude.
- Consumer electronics experience, preferably within the retail sector.
- Excellent knowledge of different types of digital communication channels.
- Technical – as appropriate to maximize benefit from all technology systems in place and an ongoing understanding of new systems in development.
- Ability to present complex information effectively to all levels, adapting approach accordingly to formal and informal situations.
You will have the ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and be a subject matter expert. You will be a problem solver, identifying business challenges and create solutions and proposals. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of stimulating and rewarding projects being the business owner for large and well-known consumers electronic accounts and driving their engagement program globally. The role includes traveling to the brands key global markets.

Other important information
